We'll have many special guests performing in the 10th Anniversary Gala, here are just a few... Matthew Topliss Matthew was born in Boston, Lincolnshire but has lived in Yorkshire for the past 11 years. He graduated from the Academy of Northern Ballet in 2009 and continued his training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He joined Northern Ballet in 2012.
The Academy of Northern Ballet is not funded except by pupil subscription – this celebratory Gala is to highlight the successes of the Academy and to help raise funds so we can continue delivering world-class training to the stars of the future. Northern Ballet gains some new faces after student successes on Academy’s Graduate Professional Programme
The Academy of Northern Ballet faculty consists of highly trained former dancers with the expertise and enthusiasm to help you on your way to becoming a professional dancer.
Fees The Graduate Professional Programme costs £3,000 for the 2014/15 year. Funding A flexible payment plan and limited bursaries are available. For more information or for a Bursary Application Form, contact Annemarie Donoghue, Academy Programme Manager, call 0113 220 8000.

The next intake on the course will be for the full-time course running through to late June 2016. Entry Requirements To apply to the Graduate Professional Programme dancers must be at least 18 years old by September 2014 and have completed vocational training. Applicants must also have completed their AS Levels (or equivalent) before the course start date. International applications are welcome subject to obtaining appropriate visa.
Big Ballet may have seen their last curtain call but the stage door is always open with Northern Ballet
