Welcome to our June e-newsletter
The Company is back home in Leeds where rehearsals are in full swing for the Mixed Programme. Kenneth Tindall is creating The Architect ready for its world première and Daniel de Andrade is creating our latest children's ballet, Elves & the Shoemaker. So with just three weeks of the season left the dancers are still working as hard as ever whilst also planning their well-deserved summer holidays.
A Kenneth Tindall premiere in Leeds
Premier Dancer and choreographer Kenneth Tindall presents his latest commission, The Architect, as part of our Mixed Programme from 18 – 21 June. This exciting programme also includes works by Lar Lubovitch
and Hans van Manen.

Time to say goodbye
This summer we'll sadly be saying goodbye to some of our dancers as they move on to new challenges. John Hull is off back ‘down under’ to join Royal New Zealand Ballet and Thomas Aragones, Maria Beseghi, Katherine Minor and Michaela Paolacci are also moving on to pastures new. We wish all of them the best for the future.

Selling out the Linbury
With some great reviews including the Sunday Express who described the Company as ‘sharp, cool, deeply committed and dancing beautifully’, our first ever visit to the Royal Opera House's Linbury Studio Theatre was a huge success. We look forward to returning in May 2015 with a new Mixed Programme.
