We are looking for a Wigs Manager to run the efficient operation of Northern Ballet’s Wigs department, on tour and at base, to the highest possible standards.

You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and two years’ touring experience at a similar level.

We are looking for a Research & Data Officer to join our busy Development Team on a fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. The Research & Data Officer is an important part of Northern Ballet’s Development Team, which generates income from a range of different sources in support of the Company’s artistic, learning and outreach work, and our Academy.

The Research & Data Officer has primary responsibility for producing detailed research profiles, monitoring fundraisers’ prospect plans and analysing data from our CRM system to identify new prospects and giving trends. This role is central to increasing capacity across the Development team and provides background information and profiles on companies, trusts and high net-worth individuals. The post holder will have the opportunity to work on small scale fundraising projects. We are looking for an individual who, coupled with strong data management and research skills, has excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task.

Fixed Term Contract (12 months maternity cover) – full-time position 35hours a week

Salary £22,000

The Leeds dance community is looking to appoint a consultant to work with them in establishing a Dance Hub in Leeds.

This piece of work, expected to take up to 6 months, will create a Vision and 3 year strategy, agreed amongst the Leeds-based dance companies, with clear actions, milestones and resources identified with direction towards a 10 year Vision and strategy established.

Work experience is for young people of school age (usually in Years 9, 10 and 11) and can take place at any time in the academic year.

It provides you with an opportunity to spend a week at Northern Ballet gaining a broad experience of working in an arts organisation.

The focus of the experience is on the non-performance areas of the company and during the week you will spend time in different departments including; Technical, Communications, Development, Wardrobe, Learning and the Academy.

We are looking for young people who are enthusiastic about the arts and want to learn more about working behind the scenes at a cultural organisation.
