In a nutshell describe your job and how you got into it

I got into dancing like most little girls in America, the ballet / tap/ jazz combo class on Saturday mornings! For most dancers the ‘job’ basically has the same format – class / training in the morning, rehearsal and creation in the afternoon followed by a show in the evening.

Where can you be found when you’re not at Northern Ballet?

Around the corner in my flat.

Which is your favourite Northern Ballet production and why?

Cleopatra – it has such a special place in my heart because of the creation process.

I’m a frustrated…

World explorer.

Who would play you in a film of your life?

Well... all my friends are telling me to put Julia Roberts. I guess it’s because I have a big mouth, but anyways I love her!

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

Whatever you do – do it 100%.

What song will always get you dancing?

The Macarena.

What scares you?

Losing the people who are close to me.

What would be your Mastermind specialist subject?

Anything about the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.

If you were on a reality TV show which would it be and go on and why?

Total Wipeout– because it looks like so much fun!

What do you want to do before you die?

Too much to list!

It’s your dream dinner party – which six people (dead or alive) would you invite?

Benjamin Franklin, Mother Theresa, Fraiser Crane, Mr Darcy, Seal and Cleopatra.

A phrase I use far too much is…

I’ll do that tomorrow.

Describe yourself in three words?

Kind, obsessive, bossy.
