What made you want to be a dancer?
My sister was the initial reason for me starting but it became my future goal to become a professional when I first watched Concerto pas de deux by Macmillan.
What would be your dream role to dance be and why?
I would love the opportunity to dance the role of Romeo as the demanding pas de deux and the challenge of getting lost in the character and the story would be a great achievement in my career.
Who are your artistic influences or heroes?
Baryshnikov was a huge influence and inspiration. The quality of his dancing from classical to tap and contemporary in my opinion is unmatched.
Describe your perfect Sunday morning
Sleep until late, have a big breakfast and watch Federer win another Grand Slam in the tennis!
What was the first album you bought and what was the last album you bought?
The first album I bought was Red Hot Chilli Peppers – By the Way.
The most recent one was Coldplay – Mylo Xyloto.
What would be your luxury item on a desert island?
The Sky Sports channel – even though I don’t have it in Leeds.
What are your favourite places in Yorkshire?
Malham, Ilkley, Howarth and York.
