Jeremy is from Surrey and joined Northern Ballet in 2009. He trained at the Patricia Ellis School of Dance and the Royal Ballet School (Lower and Upper Schools).

Where were you born and raised?

Guildford, Surrey.

At what age did you start dancing?

At age 4.

Patricia Ellis School of Dance and The Royal Ballet School.

Awards/nominations/prizes 

Young British Dancer of the Year finalist 2008.

What are you favourite Northern Ballet roles?

My favourite role is Puck (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and I would most like to dance Romeo (Romeo & Juliet).

What do you like most about being a dancer?

Constantly challenging your body to be better, stronger, fitter and to get to grips with the characterisation of a big role.

What is your favourite book?

I don’t particularly have favourites but I enjoy reading in French or non-fiction.

What is your favourite post-show meal?

Anything that has been prepared for me already!

How do you like to relax?

By watching sport and spending time with those I care for.

If you weren’t a dancer what would you be?

Psychologist (sports or teenage).
