Where were you born and raised?
I was born in London, then I was raised in Saltford near Bath where I spent most of my childhood.
Where did you do your dance training?
I began studying ballet in Bath at a local dance school called Dorothy Coleborn, where I took tap, jazz and modern classes too. I also started classes at Royal Ballet junior associates, before joining the Royal Ballet Ballet School at aged 11 and completing my last two years of training at Elmhurst School for Dance.
When did you join Northern Ballet?
I took part in Northern's summer course in 2011 and I became really inspired by the whole company. I joined Northern Ballet in July 2012.
What made you want to be a dancer?
I began dancing when I was eight and I just loved every moment on stage, so the performing part has always something that has brought a great passion for me.
What would be your dream role to dance and why?
Any leading narrative ballet role would be a dream of mine to perform, where I can really express another character and live in this moment on stage.
If you could adapt one work into a ballet what would it be?
I recently watched the movie Moulin Rouge and it has romance, tragedy and drama so I think it would make a good ballet.
Who are your artistic influences or heroes?
Many ballerina's in companies all over the world inspire me through videos and interviews, but I particularly love watching Tamara Rojo and Polina Semionova.
Describe your perfect Sunday morning.
It would be spent with my family and friends on a bright sunny day relaxing, walking, chatting and enjoying their company.
What was the first album you bought and what was the last album you bought?
I remember getting the album Now 56 for Christmas one year when I was younger, then the last album I bought was Florence and the Machine Ceremonials.
What would be your luxury item on a desert island?
I would take my iPod or a really good book that would keep me busy for days.
What are you favourite places in Yorkshire?
I love the views in Ilkley and York is one of my favourite places.
