Paul Boyes
Bassoon
Joined Northern Ballet in 2005.
For 10 years was principal bassoon of BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and since then has worked freelance
playing guest principal in Royal Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, London Symphony, English Chamber, Scottish Chamber and City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestras. Has also played for TV programmes and enjoys foreign touring.
When not on tour lives in Glasgow.
Studied at Guildhall School of Music.
Enjoys chamber music.
