Summer Classes for adults

It may be the holidays but that does not mean that we all have to stop dancing.

Over the summer we be running a number of master classes for adults wanting to dance in the sunshine, get fit, learn the basics or dance with the professionals.

The classes will be run by Nathalie Léger on 26 & 27 July and by guest teacher, David Kierce on 1, 3 & 4 August.

Many of you already know Nathalie from our Adult Ballet classes. Nathalie trained with Maritia Besobrasova at the Academie de la Danse in Monte-Carlo. She began her professional career of 22 years with Basel Ballet (Switzerland) in 1988 and then went onto Deutsche Oper Am Rhein (Germany) in 1991. Six years later she joined Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and then joined Northern Ballet. Nathalie has gained her Professional Dancer’s Teaching Diploma from the Royal Academy of Dancing and is now part of Northern Ballet Academy's full time faculty.

David Kierce trained at the Australian Ballet School. He was a principal dancer at The Queensland Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, BalletMet Columbus, and Northern Ballet (as well as being ballet master for a number of years). He has recently performed as Macavity in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, alongside Adam Cooper in Shall we Dance and Wayne Sleep in Precious Little Sleep. He is a guest teacher at Central School of Ballet and Pineapple Dance Studios.

Summer classes timetable

Classes cost £6.50 per class, £12 for 3 classes or £15 for 4. Places will be offered on a first come first served basis so please contact us as soon as possible to put your name down.
