Hello everybody! I have been continuing my travels over the last week to tell children across the North of England all about Ugly Duckling and to get them all dancing and having fun. I went to Berwick-upon-Tweed and on the way there I saw five rainbows which were very beautiful.
Last week I met over 200 children which is more than I can count on my little webbed feet and they all took part in ballet workshops with Leanne. On Tuesday I had to waddle through the snow to get to Spittal First School which was fun but it was very cold. I also went to St Cuthbert's First School and Tweedmouth West First School and danced with children from the Nursery and the Reception classes. All of the children danced very well and made me feel very welcome and kept me nice and warm with lots of snuggles!
On Wednesday I visited the oldest school in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Holy Trinity First School is almost 300 years old and I could see the sea from the playground but it was too windy and cold to go for a paddle. I also went to The Maltings Theatre where my best friend Ugly and her friends will be performing Ugly Duckling next month. Children from the Jane Keenan School of Dance learnt lots of dance steps from the ballet and performed them brilliantly.
This week I'm flying up to Middlesbrough and Newcastle so had better start warming up my wings for the journey.
Quack! Quack!
