Northern Ballet’s Chief Executive Mark Skipper responds to the report published yesterday that the Government spends £69 per head on arts and culture in London compared with £4.60 per person elsewhere in England.
Ghostly greetings from Northern Ballet! On this chilly Halloween we are enjoying everything spooky with our ghoulish production of A Christmas Carol currently touring the UK. In one magical night the three ghosts and Old Jacob Marley take miserable Ebenezer Scrooge on a spiritual journey but it is not just our production that has ghostly apparitions, some of our venues have reported strange encounters.
Hello Everyone, what a busy weekend we’ve all had!
As our Autumn tour continues, we are bringing Christmas early this year with the return of A Christmas Carol to celebrate its 21st Anniversay. The first stop for Scrooge and the Christmas ghosts is Norwich. As this was my first ime in the Norwich I did some investigating into what life is like working in the theatre and I interviewed the lovely Amelia Goymer, Box Office Assistant at Norwich Theatre Royal.
There’s no need to get your tail in a knot if you haven’t yet booked your tickets for Three Little Pigs as we’re delighted to announce that we’re adding an extra performance at the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre on Friday 1 November at 4.30pm.
Quack! Hello everyone, sorry I haven’t been in touch for a while but I have been travelling the country alongside my good friend Ugly who has been performing Ugly Duckling in the North & South!
We only have a few weeks until Northern Ballet’s Three Little Pigs will be premiering at the Hunslet Club on Sunday 20 October!
As I continue the tour with the Company, I cornered Andy Waddington, Technical Director, for top facts about the technical side of the tour for A Midsummer Night's Dream.
