Grant Green, Company/ Orchestra Pianist, joined Northern Ballet in 2010. He studied at the RNCM with Sulamita Aronovsky, and began his career in 1992, playing in the Philidor Trio and the Northern Chamber Orchestra. In 1995 he played in the pit of the Royal Opera House under the baton of John Lanchbery (Royal Ballet SchoolPeter and the wolf), and has since worked in dance studios throughout the UK. He is a very active chamber musician and ensemble pianist, and has performed concertos by Mendelssohn, Chopin, Liszt, Ravel, and Gershwin.
