Meet Pam, Three Little Pigs roving reporter

Published on

Aye up, my name’s Pam and I live on the farm. I like rolling in mud, snuffling for food and eating all the scraps the farmer’s wife throws out.

Meet Pam!

I’ve been really bored of late and I’m ready to try something new, go on adventures and stretch my legs!

Well, have you heard that there are three little porkers coming to Leeds in October to do some dancing? I’ve never been to ballet before but there’s a first time for everything. These three pigs were telling me a tale about how they once met a really nasty wolf who tried to eat them all!  didn’t believe them at first but it must be true as they’ve been travelling up and down the countryside telling all they meet about this terrible incident.  If I’d have met that wolf I would have run home blubbering!  But I’m looking forward to the ballet of their tale as there’s going to be lots of live music and dancing that will get your tail wiggling.

Now that I’m friends with these three piglets they’ve asked me to run some events around Leeds and spread the word about their show. Today [7 September - Ed], I’ll be at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm for a Family Fun Day!  Follow the trotter trail to find activities, crafts, face painting, balloons and pig treats - it’s going to be a right smashing day!  If you want to join us, come down from 11am while 3pm and have a good old time with me and my pals.  Looks like it might rain though so make sure you don’t forget your wellies.  I can’t wait to get messing in all that mud!

The Three Little Pigs ballet will be on at Northern Ballet from 28 October while 2 November so get yourself down to the theatre to find out more about their amazing adventure. Use t’internet or call 0113 220 8008 to book your tickets.

Tarra for now, Pam
