On Wednesday 23 October 2013, Dance UK and partners Yorkshire Dance, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Northern Ballet, Northern School of Contemporary Dance and Leeds Metropolitan University Dance Department are hosting the annual professional development and networking day for dance students and recent graduates. This is taking place for the second time in Leeds.

It's the season for babies - not only do we have two members of staff expecting very soon but their Royal Highnesses William and Catherine have just given birth to a healthy baby boy.

We offer our heartfelt congratulations and to set them on their way we asked parents at Northern Ballet what advice they'd give...

Last week it was announced that our very own Graham Kotowich has been awarded the Indspire Métis Youth Award for his work in dance & career achievement and as an outstanding indigenous Canadian role model.

The Indspire Awards, formerly know as the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards, are to celebrate the significant contributions of Indigenous people in Canada.
