Ballet on Briggate 2011

Northern Ballet dancers will be performing excerpts from our upcoming season including Hamlet and The Nutcracker on our special stage outside Debenhams on Briggate. There will also be performances from Northern Ballet Academy students as well as Phoenix Dance Theatre, Phoenix Youth Academy, ADAD, Kala Sangam, Manasamitra and Zoobin Surty Karma Dance who will entertain you with a mixture of contemporary, African, South Asian, Indian and Bollywood dance pieces.
With energiser sessions, the chance to try your moves on the ballet barre, yummy tastings from Northern Ballet's new Café Bar and prize draws throughout the event don't miss this free celebration of dance in the centre of Leeds.
So grab your lunch and join us this Friday from 12-2pm for your chance to see Northern Ballet literally dancing in the streets! We can't wait to see you there.
