Teresa Saavedra-Bordes
Dancer
Teresa is from Gran Canaria in Spain where she trained at the Centro Coreográfico de Danza Trini Borrull, before heading to the Royal Ballet Upper School. She previously worked with Birmingham Royal Ballet on Cinderella.

When did you join Northern Ballet?
I joined the Company in 2011.
What made you want to be a dancer?
I have been dancing since I was very little; it has always been my passion.
What would be your dream role to dance be and why?
I would like to dance Juliet, I like her character.
Who are your artistic influence or heroes?
The family Yanowsky-Robles are my influence, they inspire me with the quality of their work and their devotion to dance.
What are your favourite places in Yorkshire?
I like to walk around and visit new places. I really like York, it’s a lovely place.
