Final rehearsals are taking place for Giselle which opens at Leeds Grand Theatre in less than 3 weeks. We were delighted to speak to Premier Dancer Pippa Moore about preparing for the title role.

We're thrilled that a selection of our talented dancers will be involved in our first Choreographic Showcase on 17 and 18 June in the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre at Northern Ballet. In collaboration with Phoenix Dance Theatre this is an exciting opportunity to see choreographers of the future at work in an intimate setting.
This month offers a selection of moving and touching productions presented by Leeds Met Gallery & Studio Theatre including Ellie Harrison's Etiquette of Grief and Stacy Makishi's There's A Hole In My Heart That Goes All The Way To China. Later in the month Search Party start their life-long performance project with Growing Old With You. Inspired by London 2012, Don't Just Sit There is a one-off showcase, where you will have the chance to watch and get involved in performances, including Northern Ballet's youth dance groups. Also, don’t forget to book early for recitals from Northern Ballet Sinfonia, the International Jewish Performing Arts Festival and an evening with Wayne Sleep in June.
This year's Leeds International Pianoforte Competition Recital Series held at the Clothworkers' Centenary Concert Hall, University of Leeds, is dedicated to one of the greatest pianists of all time, Artur Rubinstein. The programme of concerts are performed by the top three prize winners from the last competition.
