We are delighted that our new home has reached the final of the Best Arts Project category in the National Lottery Awards 2011. We received the most votes in the category and would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote for us. The winner will be chosen by a further round of public voting, which will take place in September.

We're pleased to announce that Ballet on Briggate is back! Our free dance party with a difference takes place on Friday 2 September from 12-2pm on Briggate in Leeds.

It's a dance extravaganza this month! Phoenix Youth Dance Platform kick off proceedings on 7 July. Zoobin Surty Karma Dance celebrates Indian dance styles with Colours of Bollywood (pictured above) on 9 July. The Bloom Festival culminates with an evening of contemporary and African-inspired dance on 23 July and Flex Dance Inc will showcase a medley of musicals, South American and Street dance in their Summer Show on 24 July.
