Fabulous Opportunity for volunteers to work on a new Festival for Leeds

Quarry Hill Festival - 2 July

Quarry Hill Festival is an exciting new development in the cultural quarter of Leeds bringing together all the prestigious arts organisations and businesses on Quarry Hill –BBC, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Yorkshire Dance, Northern Ballet and Phoenix Dance Theatre, SAA-uk, The Dance Studio Leeds, Leeds College of Music, The Wardrobe and Red Ladder.

On 2 July 2011 from 9am – 6pm, we’re looking for enthusiastic people to volunteer for 4 hour slots helping with a range of tasks to help make the Festival an unprecedented success and an enjoyable experience for the 7000 people we’re expecting to attend.

Be part of it!

Volunteers will

  • Distribute flyers on site
  • Respond to questions from members of the public eg.  giving directions, promoting workshops etc
  • Record the event – collecting responses and postcodes from Festival attendees
  • Run messages between venues
  • Litter management

Volunteers must be 16+
