Dance UK's Launch in Leeds 2012 is a professional development and networking day for dance students and recent graduates and aims to help you find out how to make a living and have a long career in dance.

Launch is an annual conference designed to help young dance professionals choose roles in the sector - company dancer, teacher, choreographer, manager and everything in between.
The day is packed with seminars, practical advice from leading dance professionals who've had, and are having, amazing careers as dancers, producers, educators and more!
There's advice from artistic directors on the essential dos and don'ts of auditioning.
Professional dancers let you know what to expect when you're starting out.
With speakers including Sharon Watson, Artistic Director of Phoenix Dance Theatre; Janet Smith, former AD of Scottish Ballet & current principal of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance; Beth Cassani, teacher at Scottish Dance Theatre; Emma Gladstone, co-founder of New Adventures; Simon Harper, Media & PR Manager at Birmingham Royal Ballet and many, many more.
Tickets are only £30, or £25 for DanceUK student members and lunch, refreshments and evening drinks are included.
