The 22 young dancers from the Lynda Cardwell Theatre School on Moss Lane are this week performing in The Nutcracker at the Palace Theatre.

As a tour of his production of The Nutcracker comes to the Lyceum, David Nixon talks to Ian Soutar about his latest dance project.
“PEOPLE like to return to The Nutcracker because it reminds them of childhood and that magical time when your dreams can become reality,” says David Nixon, Artistic Director of Northern Ballet.
Northern Ballet's new Leeds headquarters. Rod McPhee tours the building and interviews Chief Executive, Mark Skipper about the building, the move and what it means for the company now and in the future.
Northern Ballet we're featured in the BBC documentary Wonderland last night as Harvey, a member of all-boy cheer leading squad DAZL Diamonds, came for a first round audition to the Centre for Advanced Training. He'll be back again in the new year for his next audition and the programme will be available on the BBC iPlayer until 3 November.
