Last Bangkok performance
The company were back to the theatre this morning for class and then our second and final performance of A Christmas Carol. Some of the Technicians also came in early to tidy up one or two of the lighting states.
The matinee was once again very well attended and it was interesting to observe that in both performances the audience was made up of 90% Thais which was quite unexpected. The performance was received very well by the audience who were very appreciative at the end with cheers and even some standing!
After the performance, the dancers were soon on their way back to the hotel for their last night in Bangkok leaving the Technicians to dismantle everything that they so painstakingly put together only 2 days ago.
It is an early start for all tomorrow to return to the airport for the day time flight home. There will be no rest as Swan Lake opens on Wednesday in Bradford!
On another note our new building is now officially ours as it was handed over to us on Friday. It will now be a very busy week for the Admin Staff as the preparations for the move continue ready for our first day of operation on 4 October - another landmark occasion for Northern Ballet
