Open Day update

We're looking forward to seeing you at our Open Day on Saturday. The Open Day has almost completely sold out and we are expecting a large number of visitors on the day. To help you make the most of your visit to Northern Ballet and Phoenix Dance Theatre we'd like to give you the following information:

If you have pre-booked

We would appreciate it if you could arrive at least 10 minutes early for the performance and/or class you are booked into and please bear with us, it will be busy. We're sorry but to ensure the safety of all class participants and the enjoyment of all audience members, latecomers will not be admitted. There will be an entrance for pre-booked ticket holders and this will be the right-hand door as you face the building, so please enter the building through this door. To help avoid delays please also make a note of the studio in which your activity is taking place. Also, we are not able to store bags or coats on the day so please leave your Saturday shopping elsewhere and changing facilities are limited so if you are booked into a class please come ready to dance in what you are wearing. If you are dancing and you're not sure what to wear please dress in comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely and soft shoes or socks/bare feet will be fine.

If you have not pre-booked

If you haven't pre-booked for a performance or class and simply want to look around the building we would advise you to come later in the day as the morning will be extremely busy. Please be aware that due to high demand we anticipate that you may have to wait outside the building so please dress prepared for the weather. Almost all the performances and classes are sold out and we do not expect to be able to accommodate non-bookers into these activities.

Transport

We're a few minutes walk from Leeds city bus station and about 10-15 minutes walk from Leeds city train station. As an environmentally friendly building we would of course suggest you use public transport however if you are travelling by car, parking is available on Quarry Hill but it is limited so if you have booked into a class or performance please allow extra time for your journey.
