In a nutshell describe your job and how you got into it
I am second year Corps de Ballet, I started ballet because my teacher believed it helps all aspects of dance and asked me to try a few lessons.
Where can you be found when you’re not at Northern Ballet?
When I'm not at Northern Ballet I'm either up at my family home as being from Yorkshire all my family are here, or I am at the gym, or out with friends for dinner or the cinema.
Which is your favourite Northern Ballet production and why?
I think my favourite Northern Ballet production I have performed so far has to be Cleopatra, I just love the story, the music, the costumes, the choreography, everything about it. It was also the first ballet David [Nixon] created whilst I have been in the Company so it was a very exciting and special experience!
I’m a frustrated...
I think I'd say... Actor. I've really got the acting bug at the moment!!
Who would play you in a film of your life?
Maybe Ryan Reynolds. He seems to have fun and like a laugh which I do too.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
My parents always told me to just do your best and that is all you can do. "Whatever will be, will be."
What song will always get you dancing?
At the moment I really like Latin music, so I think I’d say that. You can’t beat a good bit of Salsa!
What scares you?
Rats!! I absolutely hate them!!
What would be your Mastermind specialist subject?
Probably Desperate Housewives. I’m a big fan!
If you were on a reality TV show which would it be and go on and why?
I think I would have to say I'm a Celebrity get me out of here! Besides the obvious bonus of being in Australia(!), I love a challenge and being taken out of my comfort zone. I think it would be a good experience!
What do you want to do before you die?
I really want to go travelling - I would love to see everything at least once! Swimming with dolphins is also something I have always wanted to do!!
It’s your dream dinner party – which six people (dead or alive) would you invite?
Kate Middleton, Johan Kobborg, Alina Cojocaru, Eva Longoria, Barack Obama and Fred Astaire.
A phrase I use far too much is…
I use quite a lot of Yorkshire phrases! Apparently I say ‘Love’ quite a lot! (How you doing love?)
