60 seconds with... Kenneth Tindall
In a nutshell describe your job and how you got into it
I got into dance by pure chance; I actually thought I was going to be a footballer or a martial arts expert. A typical day at work starts with training in the morning (ballet class) followed by rehearsal and then, depending on where we are, either a show or more rehearsals.
Where can you be found when you’re not at Northern Ballet?
In the bath at home reading a book or listening to music – my favourite past time!
Which is your favourite Northern Ballet production and why?
Too many to chose from and I like to think the next one will be the best.

Time traveller. I'm convinced I was born in the wrong era. Actually depending on the day, I could be a frustrated many things.
Who would play you in a film of your life?
Tough question. I think I would like to hold an audition for this amazing opportunity (ha ha!) but maybe James McAvoy.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
‘The mind is like a parachute, it doesn’t work unless it’s open.’
‘Learn from yesterday, live for today. Hope for tomorrow.’
What song will always get you dancing?
The Way You Make Me Feel – Michael Jackson
What scares you?
Jealousy, hate, train prices and the government.
What would be your Mastermind specialist subject?
If you were on a reality TV show which would it be and go on and why?
Shipwrecked, I would love to be abandoned on a desert island
What do you want to do before you die?
Wow that's quite deep question, lets just take it day by day for now! Plus it’s good to keep your dreams and hopes private sometimes.
It’s your dream dinner party – which six people (dead or alive) would you invite?
Audrey Tautou, Ricky Gervais, Robert De Niro, Merlin, Spartacus and Jesus.
A phrase I use far too much is…
Is it Saturday yet?
Describe yourself in three words?
Hardworking, fun, loyal.
