Tell us something about your home town.

I was born and raised in the Japanese city of Fukuoka. Where I’m from is not the biggest city in Japan but you can still get everything you need, which is very convenient!

What keeps you motivated?

I love watching of videos of dance which inspire me and help me to stay motivated.

Most embarrasing moment on stage?

I once fell on the floor during the snow dance for The Nutcracker when only three girls were dancing on the stage. After I fell I still made the next step in time though!

Can you cook? If so, what’s your signature dish?

I like cooking Asian dishes. I recently found a very nice recipe of steamed seabass with soy sauce.

What book/story/movie would you like to see created into a ballet?

Maybe Princess Mononoke by Hayao Miyazaki.

What film makes you laugh out loud?

Elf. I just watched it last Christmas for the first time and I was laughing so hard!

Name a skill you’d like to learn?

I'd love to learn to speak many different languages.

What would you do on your ideal day off?

I'd go for afternoon tea at Bettys!

If you could time travel, where and when would you go and why?

I’d like to see 1,000 years ahead from now to see how the world is going to be.

Name one place in the world you haven’t been to but would like to go to and why?

I’d love to go to Australia one day because I’ve never been to the Southern Hemisphere and also it’s one of the biggest countries in the world.
