Sunday 5 February
8-11 years
- At least 6 months dance experience
- Introduction to Boy's Ballet - 10.00-11.15
- This class will be focussing on the basics of ballet technique and strength.
11-13 years
- At least 2 years dance experience
- Masterclass in ballet technique - 11.30-13.00
- This class will be focussing on jumps turns and strength.
Harris Beattie
Harris trained at Danscentre in Aberdeen and Central School of Ballet, graduating in 2018 with BA (Hons) in Professional Dance and Performance. In 2017 he won the prestigious Gold medal at the Genée International Ballet Competition. Past performance experience incudes performing works by Wayne McGregor, Kenneth MacMillan, Matthew Bourne and Jenna Lee with Ballet Central. He joined Northern Ballet in 2018.
Centre for Advanced Training
We are the only Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) in classical ballet in the UK, equipping students aged 10-16 with skills to progress onto professional vocational dance training.
