Get Ballet Fit
On Sunday 1 September, get back into step for the next term of classes at the Academy with teacher and former Northern Ballet dancer Viki Westall.
After a break for summer, this session with Viki will be the perfect way to prepare for the upcoming term with body conditioning, technique and stretching.

Viki trained at the Royal Ballet School at the age of 11, continuing her training at The Hammond School before joining the London Festival Ballet (now English National Ballet) when she was 17. In 1986 she joined Northern Ballet Theatre (now Northern Ballet) and became a Principal dancer.
She retired from the stage after a 17-year career going on to teach for many top vocational dance schools and institutions before studying the Ichino technique in 2001 – she has been working alongside Miss Ichino ever since. Viki is also is a Body Control Pilates qualified matwork, reformer and student supervising teacher. She has been teaching Academy and Northern Ballet company members since 2001 and has her own practice in her hometown of Bakewell working in conjunction with The Physiotherapy Clinic Bakewell.
This workout is a unique chance to train with one of the best at Northern Ballet’s state-of-the-art studios.
