Northern Ballet’s renowned International Summer Intensive offers aspiring dancers the opportunity to take part in a two week course designed to give a unique insight and experience of life as a professional dancer, as participants mirror the lives of Northern Ballet’s Company Dancers, helping to prepare students ahead of professional auditions.

Gavin McCaig

"If you want to get a feel for what life as a professional dancer is really like, Summer School is the perfect opportunity experience the day to day running of a professional company. The intensity of the two-week course really gives you an insight into what life would be like as a professional dancer. Seeing the dancers around the building and watching rehearsals was so inspiring for me as a young dancer wanting to pursue dance as a career. The teaching is first class and I found the introduction to the Ichino technique really beneficial and something I could build into my personal technique to make me a stronger dancer.

Summer School is an invaluable experience not to be missed."
