Eneko Amorós Zaragoza
Eneko is from Alicante, Spain and trained at the Conservatorio Carmen Roche in Madrid and English National Ballet School, graduating in 2012. His previous companies include English National Ballet 2 and Estonian National Ballet. He joined Northern Ballet in 2017 and left in 2019.

Where were you born and raised?
I was born and raised in Alicante in Spain.
At what age did you start dancing?
Officially, at the age of 8.
Where did you train?
I started training in a local ballet studio in Alicante (Alicia Broseta & Pilar Garcia), moved to Madrid to train at Conservatorio Carmen Roche for one year and then completed my training with English National Ballet.
English National Ballet 2 (during my final year at English National Ballet School) and Estonian National Ballet.
Awards, nominations and prizes
Awarded a scholarship at the Ribarroja Competition in 2008 and a finalist in the Prix de Lausanne in 2012.
Which Northern Ballet roles would you most like to perform?
Being chosen by Wayne McGregor in Symbiont(s), dancing Lensky in Onegin, competing at the Prix de Lausanne, dancing Prince Desire in Sleeping Beauty with English National Ballet 2 and definitely having the opportunity to be invited to galas in Spain (nothing compares to being able to dance for my family!).
What do you like most about being a dancer?
Letting the music run freely through my body, the feeling I get of flying and freedom, but most of all making people feel.
If you could adapt one work into a ballet what would it be?
The Neverending Story.
What is your favourite book?
The Harry Potter saga by J.K. Rowling.
What is your favourite post-show meal?
I love any type of food but if I had to choose then it would be Indian cuisine.
How do you like to relax?
I am a very active person but when I try to relax I like to watch movies, sleep, draw and definitely spend time with my friends.
If you weren't a dancer what would you be?
If I weren't a dancer I would love to be an actor, choreographer, designer or even a doctor.
