I graduated from Kingston University London in 2016 with a degree in Drama (BA Hons) and swiftly moved back to my hometown of Leeds. Prior to studying at Kingston I enjoyed the performing arts from a young age and continued to act, direct, and produce works at university and at festivals in and around Kingston.
During my degree I developed an interest in inclusivity and diversity, not just in the theatre, but in the arts more widely. I’m passionate about social mobility through the arts and making the theatre as accessible as possible, something which I’m able to bring into my day-to-day work with the Learning team.
In early 2017 I joined the Learning team at Northern Ballet as the Learning Workshop Administrator, helping to arrange the school workshops alongside the Children's Ballets tour and a large workshop-based project as part of the Hull City of Culture 2017 celebrations.
I then left to travel and visit family abroad, before returning to the UK and re-joining the team as the Learning Project Coordinator in 2018.
I’m thrilled to be part of a team which does such important work in our local community, as well as nationwide.
