I received a BA (Hons) Dance degree from The University of Chichester, which included six months at York University in Toronto, where I worked with The National Ballet of Canada. After graduating, I worked as a freelance dance artist with organisations including Baby Moves, Cheshire Dance & Action For Refugees In Lewisham (AFRIL), as well as my claim to fame performing on the 2012 Olympic stage! Amongst this, I took on the role of Support and Development Manager for Dance in a Bag, before moving to Hofesh Shechter Company as their Project Manager. Arts Management work then followed with The Walled City Tattoo, Chorlton Arts Festival and Salford City Council. Before coming to Northern Ballet in 2017, I worked as Programme Manager for Quays Culture at MediaCityUK and General Director of Flare International Festival of New Theatre.
As Senior Learning Manager at Northern Ballet, I am responsible for overseeing the wide range of projects we deliver. I work with theatres, schools and community groups to reach as many people as possible and give those who wouldn’t otherwise have access to the arts an inspiring, new experience. I love to see the joy in the faces of people we work with and I’m proud to be part of such an amazing team.
