This week in Northern Ballet (27 May 2014)
It's another one for the history books this week as we travel to Southampton for our very first performances at the Mayflower Theatre from 28 - 31 May. It's also the last time we'll be performing A Midsummer Night's Dream for a while following a tour that has seen us perform this hilarious and magical production at eight theatres in the UK and three theatres in China over the last nine months. So don't miss out, join us at the Mayflower Theatre this week.
If you're coming to either performance on Thursday remember to stay after the final curtain falls as there are talks on stage providing insights into the production and Company.
The magic continues in Southampton this week as Three Little Pigs will be building their homes on the Mayflower Stage as they try to outwit the mischievous wolf. A perfect treat for your little ones this half term.
A catch up on last week...
Last week we announced details of our open Summer Course for keen youngsters looking for an exciting activity for the summer holidays. Our summer course is open to everyone aged 6 - 13, no matter what level of dance experience, all you need is to be ready and eager and we'll help you to create and tell your own story through dance.
Last week we also announced more information about The Architect, Kenneth Tindall's newest commission for Northern Ballet, which will be performed in our Mixed Programme at the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre from 18 - 21 June.
