Over 55s classes launched in Gomersal
The Academy of Northern Ballet is delighted to be working in collaboration with The Dancing House in Gomersal to offer classes for the over 55s on the doorstep of people in our local community.
Commencing from 25 January 2016, classes will be held every Monday from 10.30am - 11.30am at The Dancing House on Moor Lane, Gomersal. This will be the first time we have offered a regular Over 55s class outside of our Leeds city-centre base where the Over 55s classes are currently held three times a week and are one of the most popular in the timetable.

This Sunday the Academy of Northern Ballet held it's first ever Dance-A-Thon to raise money to support students in need of assistance across all of our Accademy programmes and to enable us to buy new equipment for all Academy students to use.
Our staff and students along with their families and friends took part in a sponsored four hour continuous dance during the day which also included face painting, games and stalls including a tasty cake stand.
We'd like to thank everyone that took part in what was a fantastic and fun day!

Travelling more than 11,500 miles from their base in Wellington, New Zealand, this major international ballet company will be performing in Leeds for the very first time and with no less than three European Premières!
