Performance dedicated to George Grant

The matinee performance at Milton Keynes Theatre on Saturday 22 April will be dedicated to the memory of George Grant, a friend of Northern Ballet company dancers.

In January 2008, George was in full-time ballet training at the Royal Ballet School, where he thrived, made lifelong friends and was on the path to achieving his dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer. At this time, George was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour and underwent an operation which paralysed his left side and ended his dreams of a professional dance career. George’s family and friends have documented how George went on to live a packed life and achieved so much.

Unfortunately in 2013, an MRI scan revealed that George’s tumour had returned and after a further round of treatment he passed away aged 26 on June 14 2016.
