Dancer Alum

Mark left the Company in May 2013. Mark is from Canada and joined Northern Ballet in 2012. He trained at Canada’s National Ballet School and has danced with National Ballet of Canada, Alberta Ballet and West Australian Ballet. Learn more about Mark Where were you born and raised? Luisa Rocco
Luisa is from Brazil. She trained at the Academie de Danse Classique Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo and has performed with Scottish Ballet and the Royal Swedish Ballet. She was with Northern Ballet from 2012 until summer 2015. Learn more about Luisa Where were you born and raised? Limeira, Brazil.
Isaac Lee-Baker
Issac was born in London and trained at the Royal Ballet School. He joined Northern Ballet in 2012 and left in 2016. Learn more about Isaac Where did you do your dance training? Jessica was born in San Francisco, California. She began her training at San Francisco Ballet School where she also performed with the Company before joining English National Ballet School. She joined Northern Ballet in 2012 and from 2013 began dancing with Sarasota Ballet in Florida. Learn more about Jessica Where were you born and raised? Keiko was born in Japan. She trained with Kazuko Suzuki in Japan and from 1995 to 1997 went to John Neumeier Hamburg Ballet School in Germany. After graduation she joined Norwegian National Ballet where danced various soloist and lead roles.

Charlotte Talbot was born in Sheffield and is a former Northern Ballet Principal artist who originally joined the company in 1992 under the direction of Christopher Gable.
Matthew Broadbent
Matthew was born in Zevenaar in the Netherlands. He trained at the Royal Ballet School (Lower and Upper Schools). Matthew joined Northern Ballet in 2010. Michaela left the Company in 2011. Born: Durban, South Africa. Trained: Martin Schönberg; Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Previous Companies: Cape Town City Ballet, South African Ballet Theatre. Favourite Roles: Flower Festival in Genzano, Flames of Paris. Career Highlights: Blue Bird Pas de deux, Northern Ballet Personal: Loves the sun and swimming in the sea. There is no better feeling than being sunburnt!
Anna left the Company in 2011 and in 2013 joined Les Ballet des Monte Carlo. Born: Cheshire, England. Trained: Northern Ballet Theatre Associates; Central School of Ballet. Favourite Roles: Ascent created by Mikaela Polley for Ballet Central; swans in David Nixon’s Swan Lake. Career Highlights: Performing Swan Lake and La Bayadère with the Company whilst in third year at Central; dancing in the semi-finals at Prix de Lausanne in 2009.
