International Summer School - Guest Teachers
Every year since 1999, we have been running an International Summer School to give dancers from schools across the world the chance to work with our teaching faculty.
This year between 7 – 19 August, the senior course will not only get the chance to work with our teachers, including Yoko Ichino, we will also be welcoming two Guest Teachers.
Olivier is a ballet and contemporary dance teacher currently working at Les Ballets de Monte Carlo. As a dancer he worked with many companies on the continent, including the Zurich Opernhaus and Munich State Ballet, before joining Les Ballets de Monte Carlo in 2001 where he danced roles such as Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and Thisbet and Puck in The Dream.
Sara is the Co-founder and Artistic Director of PACstudios and Rome International Dance Academy in Italy and has also taught in a range of organisations including L’Academie Princess Grace de Monte Carlo. Her career as a dancer included performing with National Ballet of Portugal and performing works by choreographers such as Jiri Kylian and Martino Muller. Sara also choreographers her own work which has been shown across Europe.
We are thrilled to have these two distinguished teachers, with impressive backgrounds in both teaching and performing, coming to work alongside the Academy this summer.
