Diving into dreamscapes and acting out fantastical ways of being, renowned choreographer Theo Clinkard and an eight-strong cast of dancers unleash their imaginations to construct a world of alter egos, rockstars, curious souls and fierce goddesses in HELM.

Following recent creations for Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, Danza Contemporanea de Cuba and his own company, Theo Clinkard alongside collaborator Leah Marojević has worked with the performers to create an affecting and visually arresting work that celebrates the brilliance of the moving body and the power of the imaginative realm to effect change.

This performance is followed by a post-show discussion that is free to ticket holders.

HELM is brought to you by the Talent Hub, a ground breaking professional development programme for dance artists from the North East of England and Yorkshire with a learning disability or autism.

HELM is co-produced by TIN Arts and Yorkshire Dance, and is supported by Inclusion North.

A concessionary rate is available for those receiving Job Seekers Allowance, Income Support, Employment and Support Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payments (PIP) and students, under 16s and those that are retired.
