Mixed Programme Appeal
Help us champion young artists in creating new work and exploring their choreographic talent by donating to our Mixed Programme Appeal.
This September we are delighted to commission three new works by Northern Ballet’s current First Soloist Mlindi Kulashe, former Premier Dancer Kenneth Tindall and choreographer Morgan Runnacre-Temple, who took part in our Choreographic Lab in 2016.
Proud to support dancers past and present to showcase their artistic vision on a professional stage, these three short productions will première in our Mixed Programme at the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre at our home in Leeds before touring to Cast in Doncaster and Northern Stage in Newcastle.
It costs around £15,000 to bring each unique piece to life, and we are looking at our friends and audiences to help realise the work of Mlindi Kulashe as he makes his choreographic debut.
Any donation, no matter the size will make a real difference and to say thank you all gifts will be acknowledged on our website.
With a gift of £500 or more you can be part of our Mixed Programme Supporters’ Circle and enjoy:
- The chance to meet Mlindi, watch his piece being created in rehearsals, and ask him anything in a Q&A
- An invitation for two to an opening night celebration (tickets for the performance are available to purchase through the Development office)
- Access to a personalised ticket booking service and discount through the Development office
- Acknowledgement of your support in our souvenir programme* and on our website
