Wheelchair Dance Project 2011

In March and May, the Learning team held taster sessions for the Wheelchair Dance project, offering young people in Leeds who are wheelchair users, the chance to try some dance.

Gifted & talented primary school project in partnership with Artforms, Children’s services Leeds.

16 June will see 30 talented young dancers from six primary schools across Leeds will have their first experience at dancing in one of Northern Ballet’s first-class studios when they come together for a day of dance designed to challenge and expand their dance abilities.

Last few places for international summer school

Only 6 places remain for Northern Ballet’s annual senior level International Summer School, Mon 1 to Sat 13 August 2011.

Claim a place while you can for this fantastic opportunity to work with Northern Ballet artistic staff and internationally renowned guest teachers.

The course is for full-time dance students aged 16 and over, who are already in professional training, and takes place at Northern Ballet’s new state-of-the-art studios in Leeds city centre.

Get fit for Summer!

Summer is here and it’s time to get fit, tone up and get dancing with Northern Ballet Academy’s Open Classes.

For the rest of this term Northern Ballet Academy are offering half price classes in contemporary and jazz to get the people of Leeds up and dancing and ready for the beach! That means classes are just £3.25 each.
