Graduate Professional Programme

Northern Ballet has collaborated with The Alchemist to create a limited edition cocktail to mark the Company’s arrival at the Palace Theatre in Manchester with Cinderella. The Cinderella cocktail will be available exclusively at The Alchemist in Spinningfields between 18– 22 November 2014 and will be priced at £6.95.
Northern Ballet will bring the ultimate rags to riches fairytale to the Manchester Palace Theatre stage from 18 – 22 November 2014 with a magical new production of Cinderella by David Nixon OBE. It held its World Première at Leeds Grand Theatre in December 2013 and tours to Manchester for the penultimate stop of its first national tour.
Northern Ballet will welcome 12 new dancers this summer and has also announced promotions for existing members of the Company.
Northern Ballet gains some new faces after student successes on Academy’s Graduate Professional Programme
The Academy of Northern Ballet faculty consists of highly trained former dancers with the expertise and enthusiasm to help you on your way to becoming a professional dancer.

The next intake on the course will be for the full-time course running through to late June 2016. Entry Requirements To apply to the Graduate Professional Programme dancers must be at least 18 years old by September 2014 and have completed vocational training. Applicants must also have completed their AS Levels (or equivalent) before the course start date and must hold an EEA or UK passport. How to Apply To apply, please submit the following

The Graduate Professional Programme is a full-time year long finishing course for professionally trained classical ballet dancers who will benefit from additional training before making the transition to a professional position.
