In a nutshell describe your job and how you got into it
I'm a dancer with Northern Ballet. My mum was a dancer and my dad was a stage manager so the theatre was always going to be a major part of my life. As for dancing, well let’s just say I was a hyperactive kid.
Where can you be found when you’re not at Northern Ballet?
Watching some kind of sport - I love football, rugby and golf. If not, I also love cooking but I am the world-s slowest chef.
Which is your favourite Northern Ballet production and why?
Impossible to answer – I love so many. I have favourite moment: Romeo/Tybalt fight, the counting house scene (A Christmas Carol), Redcape Tango (Dracula). Achievement wise, I would probably say A Simple Man.
If you weren't a Dancer what would you be?
Maybe a policeman or I would be in the army. Or maybe I would follow my dad into stage management.
Who would play you in a film of your life?
Nobody would be interested in that nut I would like to say someone like Johnny Depp.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Make every role your own and don't try and be someone else.
What music will always get you dancing?
What scares you?
Losing friends and colleagues.
What would be your Mastermind specialist subject?
The Simpsons or CSI (Vegas).
What do you want to do before you die?
Trek to the North/ South Pole.
It's your dream dinner party – which six people (dead or alive) would you invite?
Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Charlie Chaplin, Siegfried and Roy, Gary Lineker.
Describe yourself in three words?
Practical joker, emotional and distracted.
