Young at Arts

Young At Arts is a project which offers cultural opportunities to older people who experience social isolation in Leeds.

The LEAF Partnership (Leeds Education Arts Forum) Leeds Grand Theatre & City Varieties, Opera North, Phoenix Dance Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Yorkshire Dance and Northern Ballet all work together to deliver the programme to provide a range of opportunities for people to make new friends and experience arts activity.

This two year project is part of Time to Shine, a six year programme delivered by Leeds Older Peoples Forum and funded through the Big Lottery Fund Ageing Better.

We are looking for volunteers of all ages to assist with the projects and if you would like to find out more please contact Shabina Aslam coordinator of Young At Arts who is based at Yorkshire Dance you can contact her on 0113 243 9867 or email
