ResTec

The return of our annual ResTec Platform performance, historically bringing groups together who have created dances relevant to the stimulus of raising HIV awareness.

All dances performed this evening have themes and or stimuli related to a wide range of social issues (some including HIV awareness). In addition, this year some of our pieces pick up on choreographic ideas inspired by one of Phoenix Dance Theatre’s current works “Why is Everybody Clapping!?” choreographed by Ed Myhill, so look out for pieces which involve clapping and/or body percussion too! Specific information for each dance can be found in the Programme.

This year we welcome some 3 of our Youth Academy groups, Notre Dame college, Leeds City College, York College, Latimer School (London), Carr Manor, Abbey Grange, Trinity Academy, Outwood Academy Adwick and our latest Ignite group.

We hope you enjoy tonight’s performances.
