Northern Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson's classes provide an exciting opportunity to work with our expert teachers, accompanied by live music.
Classes take place at Lidgett Park Methodist, Lidgett Place, Leeds LS8 1HG.
Each week we cover basic technique to improve your posture, core strength and coordination. You then have the chance to learn steps from some of our best-known productions like The Nutcracker and Romeo & Juliet.
The classes include a variety of both seated and standing exercises led and demonstrated by Kim Hardy, Community Dance Artist, and Annemarie Donoghue, Classical Ballet Teacher for the Academy of Northern Ballet.
No previous dance experience is required. You may want to ask a companion or family member to join in with you for support or to enjoy the sessions together. A companion ticket is free but must be booked in advance.
