After qualifying as a solicitor with Linklaters, Guy Perricone worked in investment banking with Salomon Brothers and SG Warburg, later co-founding a corporate finance advisory firm acquired by ABN Amro. He joined the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple as Chief Executive and Under Treasurer in 2013, retiring July 2020. He was, until 2018, the Chairman and Treasurer of the Council of Christ’s Hospital School. Since 2005 he has held senior roles in the not-for-profit sector, particularly in the arts, education and heritage, with organisations including the ICA, the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, the National Army Museum and Canterbury Cathedral. Guy joined the Northern Ballet Board as Chair in 2023.
Elizabeth Jackson built her career in corporate finance at PwC before leading a management buy-out of Directorbank, a specialist recruitment firm for the private equity market, where she served as Chief Executive. A Trustee since 2015, Elizabeth sits on Northern Ballet’s People and Finance Committees and was appointed Deputy Chair in 2023.
Emma Burrows is a partner and employment law specialist at international law firm Trowers & Hamlins. She is a committed supporter of ballet. She is also an experienced charity board member; this is her 6th Board, and a current trustee of the Alderney Wildlife Trust.
Sir Gregory Doran is an internationally celebrated theatre director, writer and expert on Shakespeare who served as Artistic Director for the Royal Shakespeare Company from 2012 – 2022. In 2023, Sir Gregory worked with the dancers of Northern Ballet to prepare for the staging of Romeo & Juliet.
Kate Fisher is Director of Culture and Leadership at Leeds Building Society, with senior HR experience in financial services and grocery retail. An active Northern Ballet benefactor for over 15 years, she joined the Board of Trustees in September 2023 and was appointed Chair of the People Committee in June 2025. Kate brings expertise in organisational culture, leadership development and people strategy to the Board.
Sonny Hanley is Director of the ITV Academy, leading training and development programmes for production staff and creating entry pathways into the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster. His ITV career spans more than 20 years across production, technology and operations. From 2020 to 2025 he chaired ITV Embrace, the network supporting Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic colleagues. Sonny brings extensive experience in talent development to the Northern Ballet Board and sits on our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
With over 55 years in the housebuilding industry, Jolyon Harrison has focused in recent years on delivering affordable housing in areas of economic and social deprivation. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, the Institute of Directors and the Chartered Management Institute, and has held senior roles including Chief Executive of a PLC recognised as Sustainable Business of the Year. A Northern Ballet Trustee, Jolyon applies his property expertise to the company’s facilities and actively supports our fundraising work.
Philip Keller qualified as a chartered accountant in 1990 and has held senior finance positions in multinational companies. From 2006 to 2019 he was Chief Finance and Operating Officer of Intermediate Capital Group plc, a FTSE 100 company. A trustee of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Gabrieli, he is studying for a PhD in Music at Durham University and is an amateur conductor. Philip chairs Northern Ballet’s Finance & Audit Committee.
Imogen Knight is an experienced dance teacher who founded the Colours of Dance School in Cambridge. She has been a trustee of the Royal Academy of Dance since 2017 and is passionately committed to dance teachers everywhere having access to great training, support and inspiration throughout their careers.
Clive Lloyd is an entrepreneur who founded Design and Display Ltd in 1990, now employing over 80 people, and also runs a commercial property business. A passionate supporter of the arts, he has held leadership roles with Opera North, the Leeds International Piano Competition, The Piece Hall Trust and other cultural organisations, and served as High Sheriff of West Yorkshire in 2021–22. As well as a Trustee of Northern Ballet, Clive chairs Opera North’s Development Committee.
Andrew McNaught enjoyed a 34-year career in investment banking, culminating as Chair of UK Advisory at BNP Paribas. He is now an adviser to B-Flexion, the private investment fund chaired by Ernesto Bertarelli, and a non-executive director of Aston Martin Lagonda Holdings plc. Andrew joined Northern Ballet’s Board in 2023 and contributes his financial expertise as a member of the Finance & Audit Committee.
Steven McRae is an award-winning dancer and Principal of the Royal Ballet where he has danced and created many leading roles. Steven also performs as guest artist around the world and recently released the documentary film, A Resilient Man, about his journey back from injury on the BBC.
Kyla Mullins joined ITV in 2019 as General Counsel, Company Secretary and Management Board member, with responsibility for legal, compliance and regulatory matters. She has held senior legal roles in the media, entertainment, outsourcing and aviation sectors, including at easyJet, Mitie Group, EMI Music, Granada Media and ITV. Kyla is Chair of Independent Television News and until recently was Chair of Northern Ballet's People Committee.
Jessye Parke is a dynamic leader with 20 years’ experience in the cultural sector. Jessye trained at Trinity Laban and, following her dance career, has secured philanthropic support for some of the UK’s most prestigious cultural institutions. She is currently Deputy Director of Advancement & Alumni at the Royal College of Art.
