'As my journey as a professional dancer with The Royal Ballet begins I can reflect on what I thought was only ever a dream as I was growing up and training. My journey to this point would never have been possible without the intense but enjoyable training I recieved as part of the CAT programme. It is the closest thing to full-time vocational training available to aspiring dancers. For me to have the opportunity to be part of this process whilst still growing up and living at home was as close to perfect as you can get!
What I have achieved so far as a dancer and the way in which I have grown as a person is thanks to me training as well as incredible support from my family. I am very grateful to Yoko Ichino for giving me this opportunity at the age of 11.
One final thank you to all the staff for their support throughout the programme, through graduation and up to me joining the Royal Ballet Upper School. I trained at the Upper School for a period of three years where I was able to consolidate and develop my training and mature into the dancer I am today.'
