Professional Graduate Programme

Our Professional Graduate Programme is a one year traineeship for aspiring dancers with bold ambitions.

The holistic training programme is designed to bridge the gap between full-time training and professional performance. With many opportunities to learn from, train with and perform alongside the internationally acclaimed Northern Ballet, this unique programme provides a fully immersive experience within a professional company.

Northern Ballet's innovative combination of training and professional development techniques will build individual strength, confidence and performance qualities to give you a head start in securing a future career as a professional dancer. You will train in the same inspirational environment as the Company dancers, in Northern Ballet's state-of-the-art building, under the guidance of Northern Ballet Artistic Director, David Nixon OBE and Ballet Mistress, Yoko Ichino.

Alumni of this unique programme have now gone on to perform with Northern Ballet, as well as other established dance and theatre companies across the world.
