Luke Ahmet

Luke was born in London and trained at the Royal Ballet School from the age of 11. After graduating he became a Soloist with Scottish Ballet (2004–2013) and a member of Rambert (2013-2019).

He has created works with Ashley Page, Stephen Petronio, Shobana Jeyasingh and Krzysztof Pasto and performed works by choreographers including Glen Tetley, Wayne McGregor, Fredrick Ashton, Merce Cunningham, William Forsythe, and more. In 2019 Luke danced with the Paris Opera Ballet and Company Wayne McGregor in Tree of Codes.

In 2017 he was nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Dance at the Olivier Awards, for Mark Baldwin’s The Creation. Luke was also a stager for Cathy Marston’s The Cellist for Zürich Ballet in 2022 and the Royal Ballet 2023 and for Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Requiem for a Rose for Karlsruhe Ballett in 2024.
