Artistic & Learning Assistant
Pippa is a former Premier Dancer with Northern Ballet and joined the company in 1996. After graduating from The Royal Ballet Upper School, her performing career spanned over two decades, dancing nationally and internationally with Northern Ballet as well as Scottish Ballet, Weiner Ballet and The Royal Ballet.
Pippa performed soloist and leading roles in Northern Ballet’s extensive repertoire including Romeo & Juliet, Madame Butterfly, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Carmen, Peter Pan, Wuthering Heights, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Dangerous Liasons, Hamlet, A Christmas Carol, Cleopatra, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Beauty & the Beast, Dracula, The Great Gatsby, Casanova, The Three Musketeers, Jane Eyre and Victoria.
Pippa joined the Academy of Northern Ballet teaching faculty in 2019 and teaches on both our Graduate Training Programme and classical training programme. Alongside teaching in the Academy and Company, Pippa assists the Learning Department delivering Audio Described performances and Touch Touch Insight Workshops to blind and visually impaired patrons.
Pippa received an MBE for services to dance in Her Majesty The Queen's Birthday Honours 2021.
