Stefano is from Verona, Italy and trained at Balletto di Verona. He graduated in Zurich and joined a Trainee Programme in Amsterdam. He joined the Northern Ballet in 2022.

Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Verona, Italy.
At what age did you start dancing?
I started dancing at age of 13 years old.
Where did you train?
I trained at Balletto di Verona, graduated at Tanz Akademie Zürich and finished my studies at European School of Ballet Trainee Programme.
What do you like most about being a dancer?
The first step on stage. Before the performance I am always worried thinking about the corrections and the steps at the point that I almost forget everything and my legs start shaking. But when I step on stage, it's like I feel a magical energy surrounding my body and I start to forget about being me and I think I'm a new person releasing different emotions and thoughts trying to be understood. It’s something magical that it’s hard to describe just with one adjective.
How do you like to relax?
Definitely hang out with friends and listening to music, but lately I also discovered that drawing is something that relax me.
